Pros: I have taken this filter on several backpacking trip and other trips and it has worked perfect my water filtration needs. It is lightweight and does not take up too much room in your pack. Some filters take a little while to fill a water bottle but this one is almost like turning on your faucet. Another benefit of this filter is that your water comes out tasting very fresh. The filter does not leave any bad flavors to your water. It is a great filter for backpacking or any other trip that you will need water (which is every trip!).
Cons: The replacement filter is a little expensive ($39.95) but you will be able to go quite a while without replacing it.
