Pros: At 14 oz.it weighs less than many of the competitor's similar harnesses. It has plenty of padding on the waist and legs loops, giving it a comfortable fit. Black Diamond has added 4 gear loops to this harness giving you plenty of room for your gear. At $49.95 this harness is also very affordable. Like most of Black Diamond's products, it is very durable as well. I am pretty hard on my gear and this harness has shown no sign of wear or defect.
Cons: Not too many. It has a 1 year manufacture warranty unlike the 3 year that Petzl provides on most harnesses (most of theirs are more expensive as well).
Overview: If you looking to buy a new climbing harness, whether beginner or expert, this harness is definitely the way to go. Why spend more when you can get everything you need and more with this one.
